What's New and Exciting
Beginning Monday, February 4th, a knitting/ crochet/ needlecraft group will meet from 6 to 8 pm on every first Monday of the month. Bring your project and come get to know your fellow knitters/ crafters!
Story hour is going strong--this week the preschoolers practiced "sewing" skills with yarn and bears with holes punched out. We've been reading from several of our new children's books obtained with the Libri Grant. How exciting!! Story hour is at 10 am on Wednesday mornings.
LIBRI Grant
Come celebrate with us on Saturday, January 26th!! An open house from 9 am to noon, with a special story hour at 10 am, will highlight our new children's books. The acquisition of these books was made possible by a 2-to-1 matching grant from the Libri Foundation. The library's share was raised by such events as a Dime-a-Dip Dinner and the generosity of the community. The books range in reading level from pre-school to junior high, and are a mix of fiction and nonfiction. Hope to see you there!

Story Hour
Book Group
On November 19th at 7 pm the book group will meet to discuss Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson. We were excited to be able to borrow enough copies from other libraries as this title is still a popular choice for book groups around the state. Three Cups of Tea promises to be an engaging and inspiring read.
